Any recommendations for snow foam and dispenser to fit a Karcher pressure washer, I didn't realise there were so many variations out there in the internetverse.

I did the same dd awhile back and ended up with:

https://www.autoglym.com/products/exterior/snow-foams-pressure-washers.html

Start with Polar Blast, then Polar Wash and then onto Polar Seal.

Good results - not sure if better than others but thus far I have been happy with the results.

Karcher do their own attachment (just a bottle and nozzle that fit onto the end of your standard lance, or you can get a standard (non-branded) lance with bottle that fit the Karcher model you have - the nice thing is that Karcher run a standard attachment, unlike a few others (Stilh being one)

All the regular places sell them - https://amzn.eu/d/aZzOlra - and the non-branded are usually £5-10 cheaper.

Hi B3mog,

Karcher make/sell a snow foam applicator, It clips onto the end of the lance as other attachments do. If You have a fairly new version it fits straight on but if yours is older it won't. Think it was about 4 years ago they changed but visually they are very similar. If yours is the older version there is an adaptor which goes between the two. I have both versions of washer so this is very useful for me!
Can't remember if the applicator comes with a bottle of foam, if it does then you are all set and it will be full of snow foam. you will need this bottle so don't throw it away. Buying Karcher snow foam is an expensive business so I buy whatever I fancy at the time from Halfords either 4 or 5 litres, much cheaper and I don't think the Karcher is anything special! The adaptor if needed you will have to buy on line from Karcher, Can I suggest you buy some spare hose O rings at the same time as you won't get them anywhere else and they have a habit of swelling and not fitting' The one on the machine for the hose is a standard hozeloc option.

If you have a top version of the washer range the bottle clips straight into the machine itself!

I haven't used Snow Foam but everything else I have used from Bilt Hamber over many years has been outstanding. Worth a try maybe, despite the cobblers in the write-up about 'paint food'.

I use an Autofinesse dispenser and snow foam, they also do a very good ceramic snow foam to spray on the car once clean. Autobrite also do a very good dispenser. I have also used bilthamber snow foam which is very good.

I use a Karcher foam dispenser, and since running out of snow foam I put shampoo in it. Spray the car to wet it, spray foam, leave a couple of minutes, rinse then shampoo., rinse, dry, protect/wax. Autoglym shampoo and wax but may get Bilt Humber foam as I like their products.

I Use Bilt Hamber snow foam on the Land Rover, but would not use it on the Mog, it is a bit too aggressive.

Sospan, Snow foam advantage is it's designed to hang on and lift dirt thus removing some of the chances of micro scratching. And from experience it does seem to work. Selective buying and I find it works out cheaper than shampoo by a long way.
For shampoo I buy the supagard shampoo sachet's, one in a large bucket with a grit guard in the bottom. This stuff is super slippery and with a micro fibre cloth works so well, Best I have ever found!
One final tip when cleaning the MOG is to cover the engine with heavy grade polythene, visqueen type heavy 500 grade. especially where the 4 cylinder engines are concerned! Plug well's in the head fill with water otherwise and is hard to remove! It's those bonnet louvers you know!
Not trying to teach egg sucking here Sospan, rather for the benefit of those new to the world of MOG ownership if they read this!
