Had a very sunny but coldish run out today and noticed for the first time the frost light coming on when driving in the shade under overhanging trees. The car has never done this with the roof off or iv'e never noticed before I was wondering are yours the same it's a bit fresh but far from frosty. Em

I've had mine show when the outside temperature was around 3C. I took it as a warning of possible slippery patches, the sensor will measure air temperature which could be a few degrees higher than the road surface, particularly if the stretch of road is in any shade. I doubt the frost light knows when you are in the shade, but very clever if it is linked to the light sensor.

Both the GTI and Titanium do likewise and turn red at zero.

The Plus 8 either grips or or she doesn't ....

Yes I think it is 6 7 or even 8 deg. Might even be connected to the fuel sender who knows. Cx owners will understand......

Yes mines the same, around 3-4 degrees.
Did a 700 mile road trip this week and it was constantly popping up.
A bit annoying as it replaces the speed. But a push on the right stalk gets rid of it.

Ollie.
