The latest prices (incl. VAT) for the whole Clubsport Update (MMC, Aug 2023) - to whom it may concern:
ECU flash £483,00 Sport Manifold £793,50 Sport Cat Section £1.035,00 Sport Silencer £349,20 Sport Twin Tailpipe £500,40 Clamps £88,58 Lambda Sensors £272,39 Labour (5h) £633,36
TOTAL £4.155,43 From memory it's about 185bhp? With much better torque above 4,000rpm. For anyone with the earlier 2.0 Duratec Plus 4 who wants to achieve the same 185hp and a significant increase in mid range torque, I can point you to a package of parts and a skilled fabricator who will give you all this for £1,000 less than the GDI Clubsport kit. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/LRh7PHV/Monty-s-New-Manifold-Air-Filter.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/HdHFmnH/Monty-s-New-Manifold-1.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/MPhB2Dz/Monty-s-New-Sports-Silencer.jpg) white zombie full album![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/wM8JX4r/FF-Inlet-4.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/KrjCH6K/Fusion-Fabrications-Inlet-Velocity-Stacks.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/sbTWxZP/Idle-Valve-Reversed.jpg) In addition, there's a Stage 2 option that will take the engine from 185hp to 200hp plus. DM me for details. Dave.

Well, it's done - AR Clubsport full upgrade, done at the factory just two weeks ago. I can only confirm what DaveW has already stated: the upgrade is transformative, the nasty revving on start is gone, engine is much more responsive, yet the hair trigger sensitive throttle is no more. The car is more fun to drive than ever - I know it is expensive, but if you want cheap you should go for Dacia anyways.

It's hard to describe such a fundamental change, and all I can say is that all GDI's ahould have been built that way.

Glad you got it sorted and you're happy However, playing Devil's Advocate you could argue this Clubsport tune (now they've sorted it) is simply what amounts to a very expensive exhaust system. The ECU calibration is just a file that uploads in less than a minute, how much value you put on an ECU calibration is subjective, but I would argue it’s a bit cheeky of Morgan to charge for this one as its clearly rectifying a poor early GDI ECU calibration that by all accounts gives a nasty revving condition on start and a hair trigger sensitive throttle. If we remove the expensive exhaust from the equation, it seems Morgan are cleverly using the Clubsport package as a way of getting their customers to pay for a necessary software update that should be provide free of charge to resolve the issues that came with a poor early calibration. Surely this element should be a dealer update provided FOC when you take the car in for a service, well that’s how all other car manufacturers operate….. including Dacia

The Cat, Tailpipe & Clamps are outrageously priced. Back in 2019, the lambda sensors were exchange and as I recall, not charged. It cost me about £2,400 as a DIY exhaust fit with factory flash done at the factory.

Does anyone have a suggestion where I can get the catalyst heat shield (similar to the one used on the Ford Manifold/Catalyst combo) so that I can wrap that around the Aero Clubsport catalyst? All I can find on the web are those pre-shaped shields.

The original GDI heatshield will fit the AR cat Robert. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2019/09/10/P1050369.jpg) I also added some woven heat shield material and made a stainless cover, plus the front shield also visible here. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2020/06/27/P1050509.jpg)

Dave, very nice solution - but I intend to sell the original piece, so I will need a new, additional heatshield for the clubsport catalyst...
