Asking for a simple instant decaf coffee invariably produces a look of bewilderment from the young machine attendant.

Consequently we bring our own sachets and throw the system into complete disarray as there is no button to press on the till for the attendant to charge us.

Yes - we do have caffeine allergies.

I only drink coffee not tea. I prefer it black and strong ( Oi woke people! Stay away).
There are few places where i've really enjoyed a coffee, most are over priced and boring.
When I worked in the Ops room I had a mug of coffee from the shift stsrt. Depending on the call frequency it was often cold before finished. Still drank it. I like iced coffee too.
At home we use ready ground coffee in a machine. Favourite blend used. Also instant for a quick fix.

Non coffee.....beef stock cube in hot water into a flask. Ideal when out fishing on a cold day or at night. Mars bar or similar to snack ....an interesting combo!
Sambucca with a coffee bean in it, flamed or non flamed.
I have been told I have some weird tastes but not weird to me. Beans with a dash of vinegar, warm kipper sandwich with lashings of butter on granary or soda bread.....
My mouth is watering.
