I followed Ruut’s good practice and did exactly the same on my recently acquired Plus Six.
Just out of interest. What would you also suggest i replace under "good practice". It as already had a replacement Radiator and Dash out after 2,000 miles and unless they can get to the bottom of why it is requiring the battery to be disconnected to re boot the computer, God knows what else.
Fair play to Morgan, they have some business model. Cobble together the cheapest load of junk they can source, charge the end user a substantial sum of money, in the knowledge that the end users will happily replace as much of the junk as they can. I just do not see the 35yr olds of today, who would be the Morgan owners of tomorrow, putting up with it.
