I take delivery of my 4/4 in a couple of weeks ( the wait may kill me) i have ordered it with a touring pack, which includes a luggage rack. i have plans on adapting a cycle carrier to allow the luggage rack carry my bike. is there anything out there or do i need to start getting the tools out.
if anyone has or knows of pictures of morgans carrying a bike i would love to see them for ideas.

Though I have never carried bikes on a Morgan, I have (in the past) regularly carried them on car roof racks.
As they were highly expensive racing bikes, we always used a Thule type of system; where the front wheel is taken out.
So the bike's front forks mount onto a dummy hub fixing on the front rail of the rack and the back wheel sits in a retaining channel mounted to the back rail. The front wheel then sits in a set of dummy forks mounted on the front rail.
Look at the Thule website or pictures of team cars in races like the Tour de France.

I've never attempted carrying our bikes on the Morgan - and never will!

On the tin-top I use a Thule carrier which is mounted directly onto the towbar. It's very easy to attach and detach with just one bolt.



Agreed - I'd like to see the finished result too!

However I suspect it may be too challenging. Perhaps a Brompton is the solution?

A perfect fit. 3 short lengths of pipe insulation and no contact between frame and rack.
