Plenty of opinions of the new Supersport and I certainly wish MMC all success.

My favourite Morgan Supersport is without doubt the fabulous Aero 8 Supersport.
I first saw one at a Morgan do at Prescott.

There is also a local owner that has brought theirs to the Fossilmog Hive Beach picnic.

😍 😍 😍

Does anyone know what is special about the expensive optional wheels? They are just under £7k, a great deal more than the other wheel options.

I was at the unveil at the Louwman Museum in The Hague. I must admit: I love it, saw the Morgan in the flesh, touched it, sat in it, etc. Certainly some details still have to grow on me. The boot is practical for the sidescreens (nice mechanism now btw!) and otherwise some small bits which now can be put away safely. It impresses as an evolution of the Midsummer. My concern should be, how to carry extra luggage.
There is a lot more to say.
Should I buy it? I just have a Nitron upgrade done at my 2023 PlusFour Manual, and love that, not at least while traveling abroad. And we have a Trad 4/4. So I think that's enough for the moment. I love the classical looks of my Morgans!
But I do hope this flagship helps MMC to survive in the future!

Similar sized boot to that of the first generation Aero 8 by the looks of it.

Unless they have changed it from the preview vehicles, I believe the Aero 8 has a significantly larger boot (my S3 certainly did).

I was told that the desired purpose is to store the sidescreens and there was talk of a mounting system to hold them securely.

I have to say, that was one of my feelings when I was at the preview I attended.

I do feel that was a missed opportunity to add a level of convenience that could have attracted new owners to the brand. The new side screen mechanism is a nice addition over and above the CX models but, and as the Aero proved, Morgan can make a vehicle with a glass, power window. Perhaps if you come from trads or have only experienced the CX, they are either the defacto or a novelty but there is no escaping a standard window would widen the appeal and be more convenient.

I went hoping to see a modern take on the +4+ or perhaps a reborn Aero but as Mr Jagger sings, "you can't always get what you want!"

With that said, the Supersport is an interesting refresh of the CX and I wish Morgan Motor Company every success with it.

I got to say it looks really good. If I had the money I buy one tomorrow. Just brought a lottery ticket for Friday. Fingers crossed 😃

I didn't want to like it - but I do and even more as I see different views. Well done MMC.

Very happy to see a boot, so much better to store things safely when leaving the vehicle parked. It looks like the boot lid opens up further than my S4 Aero which should make access a bit easier. I wonder also if the downward sloping boot lid will reduce rain water collection, on mine unless it is swept off before opening it runs off straight into the boot! Also I do agree with Aerotaff, electric windows would have been neater and solved the side screens having to be taken off for storage in the boot.

The boot looks like a bit of artwork with the wood on show but anyone who buys one will really need it because only from pictures and angles shown everything behind the seats is on full show as seen through the rear bay window, hardtop only perhaps.

I'm beginning to like it more, a lot more, than when I first saw it unveiled yesterday. Next week a factory tour where, I assume, I'll be able to see it in the flesh. Is there a "launch edition"? I see no reference to one ...
