Have to agree wholeheartedly with Simon on experiences with the NHS which I have been overly involved with in the period of the last ten or so years.... I guess much is down to adjusting expectations to that which may be affordable these days compared to a time when a doctor would visit the patient at home...?

When I went through cancer treatments 33 years ago it was my wife who had the toughest time with everything. A newborn and a one-year-old made things that much tougher.

I hope the recovery continues.
