Maybe MMC will come around to aesthetic changes as they did with the S1/S2 (I’m assuming the headlight change was a facelift?)

In my opinion, the Aero S1 had the nicest rear end and was the coolest Aero.

The Supersprt is the same, a plus 6 in a different dress. i like it but will never have the waw factor of the Aero. And it should have electric windows. Yes, I must say that I was expecting a new GT with much sleeker styling. A new Aero in effect rather than a new PlusSix.

The CX are fine vehicles and is this not simply a refresh of the Plus Six? I am rather fond of the CX and there are elements of this new motor that I enjoy but it does not stir the loins, so to say, and make me wish to upgrade. Having resisted the urge to post in haste, I had wondered if the front would grow on me but sadly it, and the exceptionally long wing mirrors, have not.

To those who replied to my post referring to my dad, I showed him your replies and he said he will retract his full of sh@t statement , it’s not an indictable offence, and he calls for amnesty, and as he is retired, he can only be a McKenzie friend to whoever needs it!!! He’s gone out somewhere in my Morgan this afternoon, considering he was very rude about my car, he has still stolen the keys! I told him if he crashes it, he owns it. If you see a Porsche Grey plus 6 around with a hard top today driving like a lunatic, it’s not me.

One of the things that has been going round in my brain is........ Would anyone really drive with the hardtop on and no side screens....??? Surely the wind buffeting round the cabin would be grim...🤷🏻♂️
Hard top off side screens on or off....OR hard top on side screens on...... I always thought they were convertibles and a hard top was an option that very few people opted for......
Phil....the Harley looks fantastic.... I must have missed the end of the build updates... Jono.... We should all be a bit more like your Dad.... I aspire to his attitude....🇬🇧

..🇬🇧 I often have the front sidescreens off when my hood it up in the Winter but I do have the wind deflectors which helps a bit

Yes, the buffeting with a hard top fitted with the side screens off is unbearable at any sort of normal speed. You get totally battered.

I've always thought a hardtop with a small glass sunroof that tilted back would be workable

Once again I like the supersport. John Wells is very articulate in his explanation on the finer point's of the car however much of it is just waffle, The plus four plus six and Supersport are bricks with the windscreens we have fitted. The reason I mentioned the electric windows are exactly for the reason Jono mentions. I would imagine once you start motoring past 30mph with a hard top you could adjust the windows in various positions to combat the buffeting. They clearly spent no time at all in a wind tunnel on the plus6 or they would have picked up on the wind blowing back into the car from the rear. I hope th e supersport is better, what was very obvious from the launch was the lack of attention to the soft top roof if it was much better than the old one maybe it would be worth mentioning. Now I love my plus six warts and all the Supersport is clearly a step up in quality but it has its flaws. Competing with Porsche and Aston as a daily hmmm. Em
