Hi All Not quite accurate as I have never been. I’m pretty sure last year I saw a post recommending a ‘nice’ hotel on the Gower Peninsula. I’m looking to have a tour around in May/June and would appreciate a recommendation as I have scoured the forum without success. Many thanks 😊

It's very overrated, The roads are quite bad grid locked in the summer so many better places to go not that far away. My sister in law lives in the middle and it's a mission every time we visit. My wife and I have organised dozens of runs over the years and only once down Gower. Ok for a couple of days if youv'e never been and enjoy walking. Sorry Gower. Em

We stayed here a few years ago. https://kingsheadgower.co.uk/category/accommodation/ Very nice and a great pub. Good walks but may be busy the time you are going.

Fine weather brings out the crowds. There are the popular spots that get very busy, especially on weekends. Mumbles .....traffic in from the Swansea direction gets slow. Decent places to eat both in the town and towards the pier. South Gower round to Rhosili has several placesto visit and good coast walks. Oxwich....I go there regularly and park in the hotel ( free versus £4 to £5 in beach carpark. Coffee/ drinks/ food inside oroutside in thegarden. Stunning viewsacross the bay towards Three Cliifs bay. A good beach walk. King Arthur Hotel is a few minutes away in Reynoldston with a wider menu choice. Arthur's Stone nearby on th3 top of the hill. Beware parking a Mog though! Car park "area" is rough. Port Eynon has large car park. Chippy, cafe, Ship Inn pub. Rhosilli....car park, pub, cafe and walks along clifftop to the end of the peninsula. Great views. Worms Head accessible at low tide BUT be careful and it is over very rough ground. You then have Llamgennith, Broughton, Whitford( lighthouse accessible at low tide.). North Gower round to Penclawdd is a salt marsh area, Penclawdd a cockling centre ( nice ice cream place too) Basically the coast is the main attraction but there are routes/ places in the middle but roads can be narrow. Swansea....stuffto see/do as expected for a City. Marina area hasboat tours, museum, cafes, restaurants etc.
