Another thought (yeah, I know: Sigh, him again!):
Those keyed quarter turns might seem like a good idea, but I'd prefer not to have to use a key on each place to merely lift it. Rather, I figure that if a lock is needed, why not get one of those locks used for cockpit lockers (twist and lock) or cabinet drawers?
I mean, you wouldn't need to find the key every time just to open and close the thing, but could use it if you wanted or needed to?

I was thinking of using ONE keyed fastener per cover. Like using just one locking lug nut on an auto wheel.

Lovely colour by the way Aeroman, and beautifully applied by the factory painters. It looks stunning in that picture. Thanks Paul, the painters at MMC are excellent. The Detailer I now use had not done any Morgan's until my Aero SS in the same colour and he said the paint was superbly applied with only one blemish on it which he was able to correct. From an initial look at the 3W I was not able to find any blemishes, but no doubt when he gets it under his lights he'll find something. Incidentally, he said the worst paint that he found on any modern cars was usually on Aston Martins!

I think that if the M3W is parked in a certain place for one or two nights it is unlikely to attract an organised theft, ie with a truck or a trailer, and if it is made secure it is probably enough to discourage an oportunist taking it for a joy-ride.
Just be sensible and don't take stupid risks.
For regular parking I would imagine most owners would have a secure place.

Over here, I cannot imagine a great market for a (stolen) 3-wheeled vehicle from an unknown manufacturer.
However, e.g., I can certainly see some college kids grabbing a front wheel as a prank, and then mounting it on their dorm wall for decoration value.

Considering that its 10K for a new motor, I imagine that even on the used market, a nicked one would go for a decent penny. Its not exactly hard to get to on a Morgan motor.

This thread is getting worryingly paranoid. Where do you people live ? I've been leaving my convertible sports cars unlocked or with the roof down in all sorts of places since 1998 with no bad experiences so far.

This thread is getting worryingly paranoid. Where do you people live? Ha ha, the thought has crossed my mind. For my own part, I'm buying it to travel in, so I know I'll be in dodgy places. But I'm going to chain it to something and do what motorcyclists do, basically. But, come to think of it, I don't have a garage here at home, so it will be covered in some dirty (looking) dark tarp. I will not be leaving anything of real value there for long, and I think that's the best theft protection there is.
