Are they plastic the rectangles front and rear?
Listening to Jon Wells when questioned, he said they were a nod to classic overriders, could be painted black or polished (so I assume metal)
What was REALLY interesting is that the rear ones have bolts to take an external luggage rack, (or maybe a narrow get-you-home spare wheel ?)

In my opinion, the luggage rack is a purely functional item that is perfect for transporting your luggage. If you don't have any luggage, you can simply remove the rack and all is well. It is not an ornamental piece, as was the case with the traditional Morgan.
Here one can see so many Supersport shots also some with the luggage rack.

In the latest Supersport video from Morgan they emphasise how they have focussed on the handling dynamics, something they should have done more of when they launched the CX platform back in 2019. What interested me was Steve Sutcliffe’s involvement. If he had significant input into the suspension design then it really does augur well for how the car can be properly leaned on.
