Problem you have is that the Librands/Taylor convex mirrors with only fit the right bases, which you don't have.
Melvyn has the bases. but at the usual hideous price!
I'm wondering if you could cut the mirror head off, drill down the centre and adapt to fit the convex circular one? Or adapt the mount on the back of the circular mirror to match the fitting of the rectangular ones?

Heart of England is a real loss - loads of fabulous stainless goodies. There was a rumour that HoE was negotiating with Williams Morgan to buy up the left over stock, designs and rights to re-manufacture

He seems to be a nice guy. Heart of England is a real loss - loads of fabulous stainless goodies. There was a rumour that HoE was negotiating with Williams Morgan to buy up the left over stock, designs and rights to re-manufacture John WORRALL wrote me that his mirrors are mostly sold out and tha I got one of his last pairs.

The mirrors that came with the car ... made by 'Wingard' ... now there's a blast from the past! 🙂
K Ah good old Wingard. My mirrors are also Wingards I'm pleased to say. Wingard was a local employer to me, they were eventually taken over by Britax. You might want to look at Car builder supplies or Europaspares. Both will send out free catalogues and both are petrolhead porn! Both come with useful tips and advice.

Those mirrors were fitted on the Rover P6, but on a Morgan they were only put on for decoration

Back in the day, Heart of England also sold stainless mirror bases + arms. which are a significant improvement on the originals. Since HoE closed, I haven't seen any advertised, although Melvyn or Librands might do them.
Standard mirror bases are fine once you've had them powder coated. A tiny fraction of the price of stainless ones from Librands. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/9HIVTtJ.jpg)

Nice bit of colour design alignment there Richard The black bracket with the black sidescreen panel, with stainless steel mirror shaft to blend with the satin anodised frame
