Made the most of the sunshine with a drive to Shotley Marina with lunch. Unfortunately, having had a few other drive out this year with no problem, the dreaded brake warning light re-appeared! Booked in with Ian at Track & Classic next week for a service & 4 new tyres; hopefully he can get to the bottom of the problem! Sorry, no pics; still can't fathom out!

Great turnout for an M3W club national event at Old Warden Airfield, home of the Shuttleworth flying aircraft collection. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/BWAz2er.jpg) In fact there was a good turnout of 4 wheelers as well in the background. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/MDhCUF2.jpg) This 1937 two speeder caught my eye being fitted with a Pobjoy 7 cylinder radial aircraft engine with open valve gear and twin magneto's of course. Ironically there was an example in the museum which claimed a total capacity of a little over 2.8 litres. This must have been an earlier variant though with a mere 2.4 litres and around 70 hp. A great day out despite leaving a little earlier than planned due to gathering rain clouds. It paid off as had an almost entirely rain free round trip of 150 miles.

Drove the old F Super around 130 miles down to the Shuttleworth event, some lovely Mogs present and the Pobjoy radial powered one was very interesting

I showed up not knowing that this event was going to be there and gatecrashed with my 4/4. Lots of interesting machinery and some good chats.

When I got back to the car about 20 Japanese students (irony) were admiring and taking pictures of the car, so let them pose in the drivers seat for a photo call. They thought the car so cool so I told them there were a lot of Morgan’s out there and a busy members club. Dave parked next to Leo (Sainsbury's) in his Fezza (Leo 2) and we had a quick catch up we both enjoyed the sixteen cylinders popping away as we left and headed for our homes along the A379.[i][/i]

Careful timing allowed a GEG lunch on dry roads top down to the Coldham Hall pub on the banks of the River Yare. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/tMeHQro.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/fvX0XkW.jpg) Great setting and meat pies to die for.
