They all look great John, but I've got to say whoever owns J44 MOG has got themselves an extremely cool car. Love the colour and the black pack. Or J66 MOG maybe??

Osterholz that is a lovely route some of which is familiar to us. Pretty with the oil seed rape, Luneberg Heide close by plenty of good scenery, we loved Harz mountains in summer or winter.
I worked at the Decca Stelle in Zeven for a few years and our No1 daughter was born in Stade Hospital in 1978.
I had a Dutch assistant engineer (Decca) and a German handyman and it worked well .
Our flat was 25 Muckenburg Street the whole upstairs of a farmhouse and the owners lived below and were lovely kind folks.
We had a small hospital in Zeven at the end of the road in the woods near the Shooting Hall smaller than Stade but very busy at holiday times with the emergency Huey choppers dropping off the casualties. The nearby Motorway was very busy , Aldi was at the other end of the road with a lovely bakery on the corner.
Decca Navigator my company paid for a flat of our choosing, Krankenversichering etc and as an ordinarily non resident in UK the company paid my personal tax to the German authorities which is one of the conditions I set up before signing the contract.
Not legal possibly but they managed with a little encouragement from me.
This was important to me as we had just returned from South Africa on a 3 year contract with tax free status and did a couple of contracts in Denmark with the same arrangement.
I loved the Kirkensteur, we should have that here it's a very good arrangement and assures the buildings of architectural value are preserved, from memory it was 2% I could be wrong.
All paid it irrespective of their religious beliefs.
Are the Dutch still jumping out of aircraft at Seedorf I wonder.

Northern Germany is a nice spot. Unfortunately, it lacks a few curves and, above all, mountains. 🙁 ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2025/04/21/20230826140253_SCENIC.jpeg) (Hardknott Pass: Our roadtrip 😍 in England and Wales in 2023)

Gerald, cracking picture, that's why we liked the Harz in summer or winter with the ski jumping. Luneberg Heide was interesting for us too and of course Hanover, well all the Hansa Stadts were visited and enjoyed.
