Jus an observation bit why are they running a 15PSI cap on the engine / Turbo coolant system and a 28PSI cap on the liquid to air charge cooler - which doesn't run at anywhere near the same temp as the engine?!

My Plus Six also has 15psi on both caps. I did query that with MMC service after seeing a build in the factory with the higher pressure on both. MMC confirmed mine was OK.

On both sides 15 PSI … and do not fill over 50%

15 psi on both caps . Needs a slight top up every 800mls or so. I have a small bottle of liquid radweld cable tied in case of emergency.

Morning Em, interesting ref the Radweld, I did consider taking a bottle with us, but there are now mixed reviews on adding it to the cooling system, it does seem to stop most small leaks but there are concerns about the rest of the system when the radiator leak has been correctly repaired... so I am 50/50 on this.. I remember in the 70's another temp cure for small cooling system leaks ( simple systems ) was to use the white of two eggs and add these to the cooling water, run the engine when warm and the leak should cease, as per radweld..
Our car now at dealers, so hopefully it will be done next week.

As well as Radweld, I also carried epoxy in the form of a couple of small tubes of Araldite, which I have used over the years and with a degree of success..

Dave. I had the same thoughts as you but the main man at HQ told me to put it in the leak stopped all the way to Malvern when I got the new rad. So I know keep one spare just in case. Something quite nasty happened to us yesterday in the Mog no one hurt thank goodness will update after I get her up on the ramp or speak to Mark at the factory on monday. Em
