Has anyone here installed the M3W Services anti vibration motor mounts which replace the original Morgan Motors mounts? They’re currently out of stock but I was told they would be on order soon. I’m most interested in how well they quell the vibration and if the cost of approx 980 pounds is worth the investment.

Several of us have had these fitted recently and they make a significant difference, the vibration is much reduced and the car feels more refined.

My main reason for having them fitted is that anything which reduces the stress on the chassis has to be a good thing for the longevity of the car and as I do pretty high mileages so this will make a difference.

Note, the regulator needs to be relocated to the front of the body and if you've not changed to a Harley type already then you will have to have this done as well.

As Chris says, very well worth doing for comfort and reduction of vibrations into the chassis - other benefit is that rear visibility is improved - mirrors don't vibrate so much!

It is also a pretty piece of engineering.

Well I am going to go ahead and get them on order. Have any of you fellows done the installation yourselves? Based on the instructions Craig from M3W Services sent me, it’s straight forward, but extra care has to be taken to keep the engine supported and stable during the extraction of the original mounts so the new mounts go in without issues.

I think there was a post here that showed the mounts installed, but I can't seem to find it. Can someone point me in the correct direction?

What is the cost of the mounts if one were to DIY it? I didn’t see them when looking on the website.

Quoted cost is 980 BP. Plus you would need the Harley type rectifier which I found under $100 US

Can anyone comment regarding the relocation the rectifier from the original front left motor mount as to what location it was relocated to?
