Dear Morgan Friends,
I have a Morgan Plus Four from 1996 with a Rover T16 engine. The fuel pump relay is broken (management unit, small black box with double plug connection, located under the hood next to the ECU, is approximately 10 by 10 centimeters in size) I want to buy a new relay, but the sticker with the correct number (starts with YWB ...) is no longer readable. Could you tell me which relay (specific number) I need for my car? I was able to get a second hand relay with number YWB 100720, but it doesn't fit. The engine won't even start... So it must be another number. On the internet you can find a lot of such relays, but they always have different numbers. I would have to know the exact number for the type of car I have. Many thanks for your information. Steven

Steven, I would be worth speaking with (either via telephone or email) Mog Parts - https://mogparts.net/Having just spent some time touring their stores, and speaking with the key people involved, I'd be surprised if they cannot advise you and supply the correct part.

Hi Steven. Typically fuel pump relays are generic 12 volt 30/40 amp 4/5 pin cube shaped ones which are certainly used on later models. See here for good brand one with diode protection.

That relay quoted by the OP seems a little on the large size for relays as we know them. 10cm is 4 inches in old money!

Did he mean millimetres? But then 10 mm might be a bit small 🤔

I think you are looking for this YWB100710 or YWB100970. Rimers have new ones but cheaper second hand are on eBay. They are from a rover 200 series https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-YWB100970
