Day 6
Factory Tour in the Pickellain Roud. We had a great tour guide. Short conversation with Gary Pearson CCO at MMC. There are a lot of Supersports under construction and a lot of PlusFours going to the USA. The vehicles can be recognized by the fact that they have a plastic tank instead of the usual aluminium one. The changes were necessary for registration there.
I learned that the chassis is the same on all Morgans currently built. It is a kit for the PlusFour, PlusSix, the Midsummer and the new Supersport.
Then a visit to the church in Stoke Lacy. Nice drive through the Malver Hills with a final dinner at the Swan

The Dashboard came from Morgen Park Hamburg John. They do not show it on their Website. Just send a mail. English is no problem.

I was Clemens' co-driver the past week, everything very nicely done! As I myself already has a walnut dash at my PlusFour, I would not go so fast changing it, but for example the real glovebox (Lockable), allbe it stays tiny, it adds something and I prefer it when I compare it with my net!

The Petrolhead Tour was a very, very nice Tour, I will let Clemens add the pictures and the rest of the story, because it's his thread. I was his co-driver (has not been a co-driver for so long since Morgan ownership for more than 30 years!) At the end, in The Netherlands, we picked up my PlusFour at Louwman and Clemens could chase his own automatic PlusFour "Red Baron" in my Manual and Nitron Equipped PlusFour. I know he is convinced by now.... By the way, those auto-boxes are terrible fast......, goes so easy. We heard that 95% of the PlusFours are now specced with automatic, which makes my manual even more exclusive...!!! I think the USA market will play a role in that.

Day 7
Drive along the M5 towards Bristol. We want to visit the Morgan dealer Williams. The last part of the journey was on small roads and suddenly we are standing in front of a the dealer. There are lots of interesting Morgan cars on the premises.
Louis Ruff provided us with a lot of information about the Nitron update.
He also races and showed us his racing car.
We continued on beautiful roads to Chippenham. Beautiful old houses, British style just as one from the continent would imagine.
Back at the Cotton of the Wood, we meet David and Roger and a couple they know who bought their first Morgan, a PlusFour, two years ago.
Another interesting evening with lots of Morgan information. David and Roger have a project to restore a Drophead Coupé based on a 1976 Plus 8, which we are allowed to view tomorrow.
