I've seen a few pictures of dogs in Mogs. I presume one would start with the side screens on, but will I need to tie her collar to something? Then when she gets used to it would it be ok with no side screens?

I think you'll find that you have to have your dog safely restrained when in a car in the uk, so a harness connected to the seatbelt is adviseable at all times.

I don't think "tie her collar" would be acceptable or safe for your dog lol but I'm sure you didn't actually mean that lol

That's what we use for ours. A short strap to universal seat belt clip.

I fitted an eye bolt to the rear panel with a short nylon strap that attaches to the dogs harness so she rides behind the seats.

Although I'm a dedicated 'cat-person' even I can tell there's a lot of dog owners on here ..... who doesn't like pictures of Morgans or cute dogs? .... just let yourselves go and post pics of your solutuon to the 'dogs in cars' thing ... a picture's worth a thousand words .... you know you want to!! 😆

I used an eye bolt in the plywood panel behind the seats with a clip on harness in the 4/4 and Plus8. We had two spaniels secured like this on the rear shelf. For the Plus Four we use a strap that fits to the seat to clip the harness onto. I've toyed with a seatbelt fitting with double fitting to allow passenger and dog to clip in but not gone there yet.

Image, you are quite right, I can't resist . Here is Eliot who, after an initial deep skepticism followed by copious treat bribes, has quite taken to the Morgan. My method is (for now) a harness anchored around the headrest pillars. Since I suppose these could come off in a really big bang, I intend to fit an eye bolt to the wooden panel, as others have done.

We have a 4 seater, so we just clipped the dog in harness to a seatbelt. Very easy to do.
