Grampian Grey with red leather interior was the bees knees on a 60's MGBGT. For some reason, that grey stood out at the time, whereas the greys you now see everywhere appear flat, with a primer look. Of course, chromed wire wheels in the 60's had a lot more presence than the matt black dustbin lid alloys today.

I think also that some colours suit certain car body shapes.. The Plus Six shape is more curvaceous from different angles to a Plus Four and a colour that looks good on the Four does not always work so well on the Six..IMHO.. innocent

That car belonged to a chap in Herefordshire, he has a black 3 wheeler also. It Porsche crayon Grey. Think he said it was a fully specked factory car for a year or so and is on loads of videos on you tube and has been test driven a lot by journalists, and was a press car. Been all over Europe, and has every extra on it known to man. I’ve seen it a fair few times.

Out of interest, my plus six I traded a few weeks ago has sold to new owner. The trader got hold of me and collected the side screen bags and spotlight covers on Friday. It’s gone to Spain apparently to an English owner. He flipped it for sub 50k to get it gone.

If something is cheap enough it will sell.

I wish I could purchase a Plus Six for under £50k.....but that's where the price is heading (at the end of summer, could be the time?). Just need to sell my classic first and will happily then jump into a 'Six'...

Remember it is all about cost to change. The rest is sunk money. I moved to a CX P4 for £13k. 12 months later the dealer has my Brooklans Roadster on sale at nearly £8k below what they paid me. Good luck

John, I think a lot of dealers have CX Morgan's (and probably Trad's?) that stand them in several thousand above the now asking price....

Hi all,

I am now in a position to buy a Plus Six...is anyone thinking of selling? Cash buyer/mature individual/not a trader!

thanks Mark
