Good afternoon,

Has anybody transported their Aero 8 or Aeromax on the German motorail service from Dusseldorf?

Am thinking of doing so, and wondered if anyone had exerience of the service and consequently offer me any helpful advice or guidance?

Thanks

Tym 7

shouldn't be a problem for a moggy then

Hi Tym 7. I've taken my Plus 4 on French, German and Italian moto rail with no problems but don't let them park it for you if you can help it.

I did it 2010 on my motorbike. Dusseldorf to Alessandria in Italy and previous years to Munich. On the train were a number of cars entered for the Coupe des Alpes including a couple of Morgan Plus 8s with German registrations. I got talking to them and in a round about way thats why I now drive a Morgan!

My experience was that on the AutoZug you drove your own vehicle onto the train and the staff made it secure. I can't comment on the cars but the staff securing the motorcycles were very professional.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, and for the advice about parking the cars!!

I think we are going to give it a go.

Cheers
