This beamer was at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year fresh from Le Mans and strangely really did look good in the flesh. The mechanics lifted the Kevlar lid off (in the pit area) to reveal what I had hoped would be the interesting oily bits, surprisingly to me it was nothing but kevlar cooling ducts everywhere and the inevitable plastic cover over the camcovers. My better halves Polo GTI looks more exciting under the bonnet albeit with only 150 bhp on tap, enough to keep you interested though I have to say for a tintop. I will try and upload the photograph I took on the day at Goodwood.

At last I think we have the photo   The Goodwood Festival of Speed is such a fantastic event with just everyone smiling with the massive collection of interesting vehicles from each end of the spectrum. I have quite a few more pictures of current and older open wheelers including Webber and Rosberg if anyone is interested I'll put a few more on the Photobucket. Richard

How much do they expect to sell it for? Nearly 15 years later we have the answer!
