Happy Birthday Graham ... loving the pics from Prescott ... really missing my favourite Hillclimb tracks (Prescot and Shelsley being right up on that list) .... next month I'm going to Doune for the British Championship round ... my first time back at a hillclimb track since my big crash and decision to try a bit of circuit racing ...looking forward to catching up with everyone and checking out the new 'young-guns' who've sprung up in the last few years.

Doune - I have yet to visit. GT40 connection, up to 1985 only one original car ever competed in Scotland, at Doune  Thanks for the wishes - nice dinner out with a couple of lady friends...

Doune is a LONG WAY even from Yorkshire. I know Dave but as part of a few days north of the border, combined with a day at Jimmy Clark museum either heading north or returning south, would make for a nice motorsport oriented trip...

Doune is 150 miles SOUTH for me! .... When I did the British Champs we ran at Wiscombe Park ... 1250 mile round trip ... and with the next meeting back down at Worcester (not to mention Belfast) it was the brutal towing associated with the calendar for someone N Scotland based that finally drove me to concentrate on the Scottish Championship with maybe a foray down to Prescott and Shelsley interspersed to ring the changes.
Great tracks down south that I really miss though ! 🙂

Belated happy birthday Graham , we're at Prescott this Saturday for Mini Fest - although the 'boss' has barred me from any hill runs Hi Jon, thanks for the HB. I was going to send you a PM to see whether you would be in attendance on Saturday. I plan to be in the MINI, parked in my usual'ish spot - not as per the GT40 shot above. I'll be in Hill Control on and off through the day, sharing duty with CoCs. Probably sat outside on the bench or steps to HC during lunch. Hope to see you at some stage during the day
