Quite liked this grill extension. Less fuggly IMO than the one shown a couple of posts back. Can't recall who supplied it.

Well I like those lower Grill extensions as they call them. Evidently you can only fit them to cars with over=riders or nothing and you have to use the plastic number plate box. I thought about getting one and modifying it to fit a car with full bumpers but the price was astonishing. I like my car with the bumpers fine now!

That Ledgerwood version makes an already well proportioned standard Mog look like some cartoon character out of the Cars movie with a gormless grin, yuk !

But you pays yer money and love is in the beholder who now has less cash for other shiny bits grin2

Fair comment - I agree with you in the case of your own photograph; that's too much of a good thing!

Ben, another option if you already have overriders.

Custom Wolf sports valance with their GT aperture that matches width of rad grill above. I shortened a spare number plate box to match cowl width. As I now have a taller aluminium rad the lower grill protects lower part of rad as well.

Cain of Wolf Performance fabricated new overrider supports as below to allow me to keep them. The tubes are bolted to chopped down factory supports.

He then supplied a stainless bar to brace the flimsy factory mounts. This has female threads each end to interface with the new overrider fixings.

One of the best solutions you have there Richard, plus your mods to the front number plate box give it that finishing touch thumbs

Thanks again all, Richard, I do rather like that solution. It's not so much that the car actually needs anything, it's more that (IMHO) it looks a little bit incomplete without a front bumper - but I didn't particularly like the front bumper either.
I shall talk to the dealer in due course - thanks again.

Whizjet, I have the stainless bumpers and they are ok but they do date a Morgan quite a lot! I have them mainly as protection for low speed car park knocks when you've left your car and because they're so low some idjet backs into it as my cloaking device makes it invisible, must remember to switch it off! I don't for a minute think they offer impact protection in a proper crash , in fact they might even cause greater damage to the crosshead, steering gear and chassis as they will transfer the impact directly to this point. But a contact to the front or rear at car park speed I hope will protect from expensive wing repairs!

Richard, You have a well balanced looking car. I particularly like Cain's front valance he made for you, it fits perfectly with the contours of your car and really finishes it off! and practically it protects that lower radiator area .

This was my take on a Roadster front, using one of Cain's valances, number plate lowered on brackets (as I'm not a fan of the box that obscures the bottom of the grille) and extra running lights concealed in the valance holes
