This morning I changed the bevel box oil myself for the first time which I found to be surprisingly easy. The washers from both top and bottom bolts that are taken out have seals on them which were perishing so as I can't find out what these washers are can anyone tell me what I need to replace them?

Not sure without seeing them but could they be Dowty washers? Plenty available on ebay.

FYI… I have mu bevel box out for new tire and Phil’s chain drive conversion (currently in progress) as it is summer in the desert 43C at the moment…and my washers were standard not with seals…maybe Morgan just grabs whatever is handy
Cheers, Will

Chain drive? Enjoy the (additional) noise and extra maintenance...
