Hopefully this is the place to post this question. Coming from the USA in May next year (I am a Plus Four owner) and renting a Morgan from Malvern. What is the best/ most scenic area to drive over a 3-4 day period. Thanks for any information.

I would say head to Wales and Snowdonia or the Elan Valley. But also the Cotswolds or Devon and Cornwall

Try asking in The Malvern Arms section as well - https://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/forums/14/1/the-malvern-arms

What is the best/ most scenic area to drive over a 3-4 day period. Thanks for any information. Depends how much driving you want to do each day and where you want to stay. However as mentioned, it's a lovely drive from Malvern to Rhayader (Wales) and then I would recommend the Cwmystwyth Road to Tregaron that takes you through the mountains. From Tregaron you could then go to Aberqwesyn, on to Beulah and then Builth Wells and back to Malvern. Doable in a day, but may be nice over two days with a overnighter in Wales. Be aware, these roads are skinny and you need to be confident at reversing!

Cotswolds, the roads are to busy, Cwmystwyth Road is narrow and coming from the USA it will give you a heart attack. 50 years of sports car driving in the UK my recommendation is the Great Yorkshire Dales!! Great roads, the Buttertub Pass is Clarksons favourite UK road, Swaledale and Wensleydale Dale are off the scale in beauty and villages like Reeth are so good you would not want to leave.

Morgans at Windermere weekend. Drove up yesterday morning. Cool and misty through mid Wales to start but opened up nicely. Checked in to hotel then a short trip to Bowness. A good turnout at the event including a nice softtop Supersport. One M3W. Nice to meet up with some friends from previous weekends. Today we went on a loop via Sedburgh to near Barnard Castle. Sandwich at Rose &Crown in Romaldkirk. Very nice pub to be on our lit for future trips. Looped round towards Hawes but a diversion due to a nasty accident near Hawes. Air ambulance were landing . Back to Crooklands past the Ribblehead viaduct to Ingleton then Kirkby Lonsdale. Weather was great. Undecided about tomorrow so weathercheck then away to go. Monday we are off to Scotland and Hebrides. Really enjoying the Plus Four.

Currently touring North Wales for a birthday treat, too many great places to visit - you'll love the scenery, eg Anglesey today to see the Whistler art at Plas Newydd
