A very interesting insight, thanks Chocadoodledoo perhaps reminding us of the possible risks involved in buying at auction..!

I spotted this on Car and Classic - just wondered what the group thoughts are:

Only the high mileage would put some people off...the rest of the car seems to have had the essential work carried out and looks nicely presented.

That looks like cracking value. The mileage wouldn't bother me, but I'm not particularly taken with the colour. There's a few grand's worth of spares with it too, If I had garage space I'd definitely be tempted.

LOL, I sometimes wonder if anyone actually reads this forum. That is Mog42 car and has been on sale here on this forum in the sales section (he posted it at £23k before recently dropping it to £22k). Obviously any questions can be answered direct on this forum by the man himself?

Hi, yes this is my car for sale - also on Classic car. @Rob I have messaged you. Its hard to know where the value sits for a car with this sort of mileage. Details of the car are in the advert, but in short I have a 4 seater and bought the three wheeler new. I ran it for 10 years and it still looks new despite its mileage. I have a 2 car garage and was fortunate enough to be able to buy a Plus Four new, so i now have 3 cars in a 2 car garage and have to use skates to move them around. I need to create some space and the 3 wheeler being the least used has to find a new home. I have no idea of value and would prefer it goes to someone who appreciates it for what it is. I will get to the point where I will either put it in an auction or back through a dealer just to get the space. Any thoughts on current market price would be much valued! Cheers Dave
