I have an awful rattle up front, when I gently apply the brakes it goes.

I can only assume it’s the pads rattling. They don’t appear that loose in the calliper.

Anyone help with this one?

This may be worth trying, if not already used.
I have , on my Plus 4, an additional “shim/ anti rattle plate” , I put a smear on all the non friction surfaces.
It might help on your car.

Sorry, on a more sensible issue above, pop out and clean up all the pads and as Bishmog recommends, use some CeraTec as it's safe with ABS equipped cars

I’ve taken them out and cleaned them.

I wonder if that Cera tec would work like Copperslip?

Coppaslip is very old tech and if you have ABS sometimes has issues because it's conductive, I swopped to CeraTec several years ago

It’s ok. Having just taken a wheel off again it suddenly dawned on me that it’s the floating discs rattling

Me too still using Coppaslip and Aluslip, the tubes seem to last for ever!

I have no idea of the system used by Morgan, but googling floating discs, it says that whilst they are noisy on race cars, road going vehicles usually have some form of damping such as springs. If they rattle it could be due to worn rivets or springs.
The question to be considered is whether they have always been like that or is it a more recent occurence?

Yes indeed.
I bought them off Simon Bloje, can’t remember the company but I should’ve bought them from my original supplier.

Not done many miles so pretty sure they’ve not worn out the springs. I’m reckoning they’re race spec hence the noise.
