Don’t think the configuration tool has been available on iPad last time I looked so pleased to see it now works. Had a play with the Supersport thinking the total spec price is not too ruinous but then noticed it excludes tax.

Does that mean VAT is not included either? Don’t think it’s an optional fiscal feature, but since when do UK retail prices on goods and services exclude VAT?

It’s hardly a trivial extra. Maybe MMC think we’re daft enough not to notice.

Williams have a SuperSport demonstrator (500 miles on the clock) available at £134,000. Ouch.

And whilst the SuperSport configurator was loading on my desktop, it was telling me what a great car the Plus Six is. I think someone has missed that in re-purposing the page.

Similarly the "Every Morgan Tells A Story" email they sent-out today has a "Plus Four Test Drive" tab, but it doesn't work - "Error 404". Oh well even though I might have been slightly interested, that's just sloppy.

Maybe they employed a redundant Jaguar marketing guy who came up with the idea to clickbait at the beginning on account of price rises so we just have to bite the bullet when the invoice comes with the other twenty odd grand on it.

At the risk of being a mog meanie, had a look at the Porsche configurator- spot the difference - no excuses for excluding VAT.

I’ll continue to cut MMC a lot of slack - just be transparent and cut the bullshit.

You can't cut them any slack.......... MMC want to play with the big boys so they must equal to or better than anything that the opposition are doing....!!!
I don't think that being niche, hand assembled or traditional is enough nowadays.........
When a 911 is the same price, or less, than a Morgan it would take a real enthusiast to buy the Morgan.......🤷🏻‍♂️

There are some areas without question we should make some allowances,/cut them some slack. they are a small company with a very small administrative base, I would suggest stretched slightly thinly, and so errors occur. Yes customer facing material should be proofed/ quality checked, but even the big boys get it wrong from time to time even with massive resources behind them. I haven't for example seen Morgan listed among the big boys for emissions cheating software and resultant massive compensation packages and fines. being committed by the major motor industry players.

There are quite a few Supersports being advertised at the moment and I must admit none of the colour schemes do anything for me.

If you want £134,000 of my money you need to earn it. At £50k (secondhand AMG price) I will expect to pop into the garage a few times to sort something. £134,000 means you need to get it right.
