My Dad had one of those back in the '50's, went everywhere in it albeit quite slowly. I remember going a scrap yard with him to get a replacement door pillar as believe it or not, they were actually coach built.
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

This is pretty Marvelous in my book .... special from the 1930s powered by twin Ariel Square Fours ... zero weight, eight cylinders and 2 litres ... sounds like fun to me 🙂 ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2025/08/28/Screenshot_20250826_090505_Facebook.jpg) K

My Uncle who was a m/cycle racer in the 50`s told me that the rear two cylinders on SQ4`s used to suffer from overheating.... I guess on hillclimbs the engines might not suffer as they supposedly did on longer runs.... Fantastic machine, thanks for posting the pic K....

Rich, I loved the picture you posted on page 29….of the double ‘Lambretta’ .it reminded me of a new shape Fiat 500 that we saw in August, on the A8 in Germany . It only had three wheels ! It was intended, not fallen off and was at the back, like a BMW Isetta . Sadly I passed it too fast to photo but it gave us a laugh. Perhaps some of our German TMers have seen it ? Best MM

They're made by a proper firm to meet a loophole in the German regs that allow 16 year-olds to drive 3 wheelers rather than wait til 18 for a full car.
Bit like in the UK when you could drive a Reliant on your bike licence.
