Is it possible to convert the tombstone style seat back into the slimmer, more sculptured bucket style? I think the seat bases are the same.

Personal view here, but I always found the tombstone seat more comfortable. The sculpted seat always wanted to squeeze my kidneys.
I am sure other views and experiences exist....

I converted mine .... was a fabrication job and I have a tame sewing-machine wrangler at home. .... it's possible to retain the tilt and recline functions of the old seats ... but not a 5 minute thing. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2025/09/12/Screenshot_20250912_101633_Gallery.jpg) K

Have a pal just up the road who has a fabricating business ... he lets me have free run of it on the understanding any missing limbs are my own fault .... have a lathe, milling machine, welder and polishing stuff at home so only bother him for the oddball stuff like the big sheet-roller and any really safety critical or stressed welding I prefer to have his certified lads and their lovely tig welding for...... real godsend!

I seem to remember seeing a photo of a conversion done by Melvyn Rutter's trimmer, but Allon White's have the best Morgan trim shop.
Anything is possible I'm sure, perhaps a Daytona style seat.......😁

If mine was just a summer toy, then I'd go for a pair of ally bomber seats. However, I do like the comfort of heated seats in the winter! It's alwasy worth looking for local trimmers, they are usually far cheaper than the 'Morgan' branded ones, and just as good. I love the bomber seat look, you could get some 'partially trimmed'...... ones for summer......😁
Who ever did your seats did a fantastic job, they look incredible...!!
I've seen some absolutely shocking OE malvern seats, they did look very homemade...!
