I think my wife would very much like the idea of a roll bar. Can you still put the top up if you have a roll bar? Does it use up the luggage space behind the seats? No, you can still raise the hood + marginally. The one's on the German cars are triangulated racing one's - the road going one's occupy less space . Many thanks for this Rich.

Out for a spin on a very nice day ... stopped off at the Drive Cafe ... slumming it next to a top end D-type recreation. Very beautiful thing! .... then home the long way ... all in all a fine run. (And they do sausage rolls that just shade the ones in the Factory cafe for my favourite! ) 🙂 ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2025/09/06/20250906_133303.jpg) Ps .... You can tell I use mine! .. the tyres are dirty! 🙂

For any Morganeers in the Aberdeen/Banff/Fraserburgh area ..... not so much an 'event' just having an informal evening opening for anyone interested to rock up, grab a coffee etc and see who else turns out ... friendly place ... failing disasters, I'll take a roll down. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2025/09/07/Screenshot_20250907_092621_Facebook.jpg) No personal connection to the business beyond liking their sausage rolls!! 🙂 K

Grey day in prospect, but the cloud cover was very high in the sky presenting wide ranging views. Circa 08:00 hrs decided to fire up the old Mog and head out for a clockwise rumble round the Trossachs again, my favourite routing taking in the wonderfully testing Dukes Pass, I knew I was tempting fate as a few spits of rain appeared on the wind screen, a mile or so after leaving home, but undeterred I pressed on and was rewarded with a mostly traffic free journey, I required to make use of the wipers for a few miles, and the last mile or so from home it did get a tad damp, but as I parked up back in the garage with both mine and my Morgan`s cobwebs truly blown off, I thought what a wonderful old machine my Morgan is.... What`s more to want...? (-:

Just on a road-trip. In cause of bad reasons not a two week holiday run with my wife, but a shortened journey with my brother.
On the ferry last week there was also a German MOG with a „VIE…“ Registration. After a first stay in Canterbury we had a look in at BHM. As allways a great talk and a good time.
Than a few days LONDON. And today to much miles. I‘m massive tired after more than 320KM on small roads. East Sussex, West Sussex, the wealth, down to the coast. The seven sisters and along the coast to Deal.
All the way with the hood down. Tomorrow back home. Belgian/ French motorways.
Sad about the short journey, the idea was to meet some people here, but it wasn‘t possible.

This doesn't effect their normal 7 day opening. K

Early morning yesterday at FolkMog's Snetterton track day. A superbly run event and lots of fun in a Morgan ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2025/09/23/vlcsnap-2025-09-23-12h33m46s039.png)

The fun begins . It did sound good as the revs built coming out of Agostini.

The weather hereabouts last week was looking a tad like Winter had begun in terms of wet and grey, been a pretty good week this week and with a sun filled forecast for today, fired up the old Mog and headed out for a run round the Trossachs including my favourite but of tight and twisting Tarmac over the Dukes Pass, must have been a training day for police m/cyclists as in the length of the pass met two groups of four coming from the opposite direction, just a great bit of road to test ones skills on a m/cycle... Been there done that on my R850R many times...(-: Once out of the Trossachs headed over towards Kippen to extend my B road enjoyment in what for me is THE perfect machine to make the best of such a gift of a Morning in the form of my old Mog. Feeling pretty chuffed with myself that after a difficult few years, I can still enjoy driving my old +8 without fuss or bother, just turn the key and it is ever ready to go, which has been the case for over 20 years now. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2025/09/26/_DSC8142.jpg)
