So there I was waiting to board the ferry from Holland to Uk in my Pembleton 3 wheeler and I thought I would have a look at Talk Morgan and see the state of play on the main topics of discussion and who is still active.
Stand by for some Golden Rules which may be of help:
1)..Never,never,never buy the first edition of any Morgan..wait at least 2/3 years before purchase to give all the inevitable faults to be sorted.
2) If you want a reliable near to perfect sports car..buy a Porsche or a Mazda...not a Morgan..you will be disappointed.
3) The 3 wheeler(model 2012--2021) is junk !!!..Sell it ,scrap it set fire to it..Charles Morgan released it too early to Market..buy a Pembleton,Trking or JZR..or a 1930s original Morgan !!
4) The BEST 4 cylinder Morgan by far is the limited edition +4 Supersport..no question,,complete straight from the Factory with everything before the Accountants got involved..even Simon had one !!!..I may buy another now prices have crashed !!
Greetings to all who remember me x....

I hope you had a good crossing and a good journey to your home! I think Pembletons are fun, and I do agree with respect of not buying the first edition of a Morgan. But if Morgans were perfect, we had little to "TalkMorgan" about.....!!๐

It's great that your P4SS still moves you emotionally, KEVFITZ. Yes, now is the opportunity for another P4Supersport! Have fun searching. BTW I agree with you, my 4/4 was quite mature in 2014 after 78 years of production.

Not all is wonderful in the Pembleton camp. A Morgan owner bought a new T24 a year or two ago and the front suspension collapsed on one side recently whilst out with his wife. Fortunately they were travelling very slowly so not hurt.

Look forward to welcoming you back to the fold when you scratch the P4SS itch. You know it makes sense.
Echo Heinz - our 2014 4/4 has been relatively trouble-free so they got it right a few years before they ended 4/4 production.
I wonder if there could be a new 4/4 in the wings? And will I live long enough for its initial production foibles to be resolved?

Welcome back......๐
I love a contentious, bombshell, thread starter of a post......!!!!๐ I think that your points are probably all basically correct๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
Point 4 I would amend though to....... The best Morgan has 4 cylinders, Ford Duratec or Sigma...... Morgan, after many decades of practice finally got it right...... the golden era for Morgan build......not perfect....no no no.......but........very good......for Morgan๐
It's a buyers market now, the perfect opportunity is out there to re enter the Morgan world......๐๐ผ
Do it ....... or regret it forever.....๐

Hi Kev
I'd love to see your Pembleton if you want to pop into the garage when you are next in Selby. I would have loved you to have taken me out in your P4SS. I bought my dad's old Rover +4, it's a lovely civilized road car, but I'm also fancying a super charged +8 that I know is for sale!
