Hello. I have a Roadster V6 3.0L 4 seater owned from new 2011.
The exhaust has an irritating drone noise at cruising speeds and has been there from the start.
After a Morgan rally down to Portugal recently I’ve realised that action needs to be taken. Particularly if I want my wife to continue as co pilot. Which I do.
Living in Cheltenham area I would welcome advice of who I might approach to see what can be done. As well as others experience like mine.

After owning a Series 1 3.0 from 2005 and a Series 2 from 2008, both with a nice sound, I later purchased a Series 3 Sports Roadster in 2010. The exhaust was so extremely droning at certain revs that it actually gave me a headache, so I had two new silencers made locally. Your 2011 Roadster could have the same silencers. After that change, it was pleasant.

My Roadster was fitted with a sports exhaust when I bought it in 2008. The silencers were half the length of standard and the drone at 70 was unacceptable on the way home, on day 1. It came with the standard system, so on day 2 that went back on, and transformed the sound.

My recent sports exhausts from Williams (Librands by the way) do the job and are a little noisier than standard but not unpleasant. More throttle means more sound but I've never found them to be annoying. i like the burble on over run but don't can live with it.
