that truck was crazy- 1100 hp diesel which he could control through a computer widget on the dash. We hauled ass. The firearm- well I don't want to get into that in detail- let's just say it's pretty common where I live in Texas.

Bill: It was good seeing you at the Ozark event, it was definitely a wet show day being in a M3W as this picture shows  . Craig took the photo of me when we got back to the hotel. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2025/10/15/WetM3WDriver.md.jpeg) Also a long wet drive back to Colorado, had to strip the M3W down to get all the water out and give a good clean.

We went via Benson whilst driving Route 66 in 2017. Arkansas and the Ozarks are very beautiful around there.Luckily for us in a soft top Mustang in April it didn't rain (other than 10 mins in OKC) the whole journey.
Though it got a bit chilly around Benson.

Bill, great write up! I am finishing my article for the TEX MOG newsletter. Perhaps I will post that here, as well as post some more pics. It was a bit wet, but it was still fun. I know many of the people who help organize the show, and they were very apologetic, but no one can control the weather. Well, at least not us mere mortals. I told them that the two days of rally drives through the Ozarks were perfect, and though we got a bit rained out during the show, we won't soon forget it and will laugh about it all the more in the future! These cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed, not just admired in the garage. As Bruce, aka "BritMOG" indicates in his photo, you can still get uterly drenched and have a good time! It was great to finally meet you, Bill. I'm glad the Marble Falls event was a bit more enjoyable for you. I hope Randy gets his M3W sorted out soon. And, I hope to God when/if my M3W ever breaks down, I can also have an Aston Martin tow vehicle!
