Trouble is that I would want to in the rear seats ! I had a chauffeur drive from Chester to Bristol slept all the way in reclining rear seats .
Be interesting to see final price.

John that description fits well with a couple of old cars which I owned, the most acholic of the bunch perhaps being my Mk1 Jensen interceptor`s cast iron 6276cc`s of thirst, to have the pedal pumped while looking down the barrel of that Carter carb was like watching a waterfall...and all during the fuel crisis in the 70`s...!

Son in Law recently swopped his Phaeton for a 2008 W12 LWB A8, with ridiculously low mileage and like new. Can't remember what he paid but nowhere near £35k, and it gets over 20mpg!!!

My cousin worked at Jensen when completing his engineering apprenticeship and always bragged how he was the fastest apprentice when moving the cars around the factory, they absolutely caned them if no management were around.

John it would have to be a huge factory to arrive anywhere near stressing one of those old Chrysler V8`s.... Cant imagine there was much sensation of speed in a Jensen, till up past the ton, and even then..?
