From about this time of year onwards, I favour "Gangster Mode" (hood-up and sidescreens off). So I can drive and stay dry/warm-ish, then put the car away like that. Despite the garage, without an indoor cover who knows what will fall onto/into the car during storage. This juicy tiger moth caterpillar (according to my daughter who is into entomology) was on the hood one day, and yes they will chew mohair fibres to make a cocoon... ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2025/10/29/2009-Morgan-Roadster---rear.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2025/10/29/Tiger-Moth-caterpillar-July-2025.jpg) I love the gangster look. The only issue I find is the ballooning of the hood at higher speeds when the widescreens are off.

Yes, I'm thinking of getting Steve summers to change my rear screen for a zip out version. so straight through air flow and no buffeting either. Also and as is inevitable the plastic screens always go cloudy and crack so an easy replacement and cheap too!
