Thanks for posting. Interesting video. I've been told that is the way to test them, but I've never seen a practical video of the spoke test to hear the tone. I was thinking about my Morgan 3 Wheeler as he was doing this but thinking, "I will chip my powder coating!"

Actual Wheel tappers job was to tap the railway wagon/loco wheels to find cracks.
Also how you test pottery for cracks.
