Sorry to be a misery but that black grill just looks unfinished to me.....as if there should be something else fitted in front of it.
Wow, have I got out out of step with fashion and perceived elegance..... Nick, I have never been one who wished to be in fashion, my preference being to be just a little different, thus for me Morgan custodianship fits rather well... I wish the MMC and all who work there all the best for the new models, but more than happy just to stick with my old +8 and in the hope that doing so never becomes fashionable, unless with a very select group such as those here... (-:

It already looks way better.....!!!! What on earth was the huge team of designers/the Italians thinking when they decided to leave out such a vital feature on a Morgan........?????๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ Now it looks finished rather than part way through a service..... ๐ฌ๐ง๐ฌ๐ง

I think they've just balanced a factory one in the hole. There's a gap at the top and the two holes at the bottom are too high. It's clearly not designed for the car.

Love it, and agree with John that the lego has to go, or perhaps if the waterfall grille is polished the lego should be as well. A combination of the KH changes and MP changes would be near perfect.
I also see that it's described as a "genuine Morgan accessory", MMC should make it so.

It looks strangely cobbled together. Or is it a photo taken before it was properly finished? It looks as if someone simply placed the grill in the opening without securing it and installing it properly. I'd rather have the radical new look than false nostalgia.

I'm curious what it looks like when the grill is installed correctly. You also have to note with the picture that the original border on the car is kept black due to the option, so it looks different again with a light border.
However, I would prefer a variant with chrome-plated wire mesh and only minimally necessary bridges.
My super sport is coming next week (hopefully). Maybe I'll go to Hamburg...
