You could try this: https://williamspartsshop.co.uk/morgan-duratec-engine-cover-2037-p.asp

Sir P

Be aware it doesn't fit all Duratec engines and even if you have the right engine it needs a lot of fettling to fit, ask me how I know swear

After seven years I finally got around to fitting a sub woofer to Morton's radio installation. What a difference - should have done it sooner. Despite fitting a second pair of rear speakers (using existing loom cabling) the limited space available in the sides forward of wheel arches dictated maximum 3.5 inch speakers. No matter what settings I tried no discernable bass could be heard, ditto 4 inch OE footwell speakers.

The Sony DSX410BD DAB/bluetooth radio fitted has a dedicated sub woofer audio feed via RCA connectors to match the compact sub woofer I bought here. Wiring was relatively easy as the radio loom already had spare bullet connection for permanent power needed - upped the fuse rating on that circuit to 15 amps though. I then just had to tap into the electric aerial feed from radio, only active when radio switched on, in order to wake up sub woofer power amp. This was already being used to feed an active aerial splitter to serve DAB and FM inputs. Sub woofer seen here temporarily on floor of passenger footwell for testing and adjustments.

This sub woofer was chosen as it's a good fit to space available on the underside of bulkhead above passenger footwell where it can be located unseen and out of harms way. Unfortunately as it's offered for underseat fitment all it has by way of location is a thin strip of velcro on the underside. The case is 15mm wood though so it will accept still to be made custom brackets secured with wood screws.

I ACF50'd the hell out of the leaf springs the other week and bounced the car up and down vigorously a few times whenever I was in the garage.........

No more annoying squeaks from the springs...... and, they even seem to work a bit better..... although that's probably a bit optimistic.....🤷🏻‍♂️

Now I've moved and have got space in the new garage, and a bit of time, I'm working through all the little bits that I wanted to do since I re-bought it and didn't have space or time....🥳

My toy has just been returned from a fettling at Krazy Horse, ( other dealers are available ) damn fine chaps down there. After a good run out on Saturday I shall be giving all the, wing seams a good soaking with ACF 50, giving it a good few days to soak down, that should keep the winter out.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

My car is now 12 years old, I have never put anything on the wing beading and it's still perfect. I only use Williama waterless wash on the car.

As per my Plus 8 handbook light oil (3 in 1) annually down the seams when dry does the trick for me.

On the 4/4 Sport too of course.
