Evening all,
Does anyone know the name of the manufacturer of the billet push buttons.? I have looked at Car Builder Solutions for example but theirs are slightly but noticeably different. Any clues ?

I did once find them after a lot of research, but they are (or were) made by a big OE maker who would only supply in large quantities to the Trade, you can order via MMC Dealers as a spare part.

Brands Hatch had them last time I needed one a few years ago

Unfortunately to get an exact match there are no alternatives, I spent months trying

However if you do find something acceptable please let us know so I can add it to my alternative spares database

meabh, I've been searching my files / notes and found this...

The switches are made by E.A.O the UK distributor was Mouser UK but the website was not very user friendly and even filtering by automotive switches gave over 26,000 results to search through.

Eventually I traced them to the E.A.O Series 61 but even they are complex with different part nrs for bezel, switch type, mounting, legend, illumination, actuation block

This part catalogue lists them by Farnell (another distributor) shown on page 434, 435 etc
https://www.farnell.com/datasheets/44902.pdf

As mentioned the buttons are made by E.A.O and you can easily replace the push buttons with the right tool.

You can look up the available buttons from series 61 on their website. When navigating to a particular button: there are distribution partners in the bottom.

For instance these are the aluminium ones:
https://www.eao.com/en/search?q=61-9841

And on this page you can use the configurator to see what options are available:
https://www.eao.com/product/61-9841.0A~10-2J09.1062~51-486.036F~61-9933.0/pushbutton/en/leuchtdrucktaste-baureihe-51-25-mm-ausgeleuchtet-flach-1-oe-gold-ip65-universalanschluss-2-x-05-mm

In order to get the old one out, use these:
https://www.eao.com/component/61-9730.0/de/druckhaubenzieher

I tried to buy them this year as well and certain colours are hard to source.
