I had a 2017 AMG GT a year or so ago and ended up moving it on for a 991.2 911. The AMG was genuinely quick, fantastically characterful and full of drama. I slightly regret selling it but on our roads it was just a bit too wide.
I had a great trip to Normandy in it and averaged about 28 mpg, which was pleasantly surprising. A great GT car but not a sports car. The 911 runs rings around it in every way but boy oh boy did it look and sound great!
