Welcome to Talk Morgan, Tom.

Lovely looking 4/4 you've purchased; I'm sure you'll have a massive smile, when you can get out on the roads and use it!

Welcome, there is lots to learn on TM. When I replaced my tyres I went for 195/65 R15, as opposed to the 60 profile.
Better value and improves the ride, thanks to TM which is where I learnt about it. Yokohamas set of 5 fitted about £265
by memory.
There are threads on here, someone better than myself will probably pop on a link. Enjoy.

Meant to add you will need to check that the tyre fitters can balance the wires who will need 42mm balance cones.
Bet you can’t guess where I learnt that. laugh2

Thank you all for the welcome, I hopefully will join the club and keep an eye on meets etc. I did lots of searching on old threads and realise I have a lot to learn. Funny I did see discussions on the 65 against 60 tyre profile sizes, but probably will stick with the factory fitted size. Will see how uncomfortable they are, but I did not find the ride hard on existing, just bounced a bit probably due to the hard rubber……I thought car was bottoming out on bumps, but underneath could see no evidence and think it maybe the wooden toolbox above the differential banging as loose…

I have decided for now to use a well known dealer for the work, in fact where the car was supplied from……whether I use main dealer in future may change, but unbelievably the car has a full dealer service history from new, which surprises me they never recommend a tyre change in that time (not the dealer I am going to)….First trip planned in a few months all around Scotland , hopefully

I will post further questions on new or existing threads, as have lots of them….by the way is it just me or was Morgan’s Owners guide the most basic car guide ever, doesn’t even given tyre sizes….

Welcome to TM. Nice looking MOG. Just remember that getting fuel will never be the same 😀. I have lost count of the people who have come up and mentioned that Nan/ Grandad etc use to have a Morgan.
And getting waved at by kids and big kids!
