I spent five days at the factory over the fourteen days build I was there on day 1 to see the bare chassis rolled out with the first box of bits.
I saw the body taken off the shelf and bolted onto the chassis
I saw it in the bodyshop as the doors and bonnet were added.
I saw it in trim as the interior was assembled.
I saw the dashboard on the bench and installed. I saw the first gallon of fuel added. I saw the car prepared for the road test. I am also in the build book, and was able to chat to the guys who assembled it.
I saw it in final assembly, and awaiting collection.
This is why you pay a premium for speccing a new Morgan. I had the build book but also made my own. Enjoy every moment you can.

If you can..... you must.....!!!!! As you say, when are you going to get another chance, and who knows...... MMC might not always be there.........!!!! There's no point speccing a hand built Morgan and then not going to the factory to see it being.... hand built....... especially when they actively encourage you to go.....π€·π»ββοΈ
I went to see my current car being built in 07, it certainly connects you to the car......

After consultations with the factory and much helpful input from them, I'm scheduled to visit on January 28! MMC could not have been more helpful and encouraging as well as providing advice on hotels, restaurants, etc. Its a quick trip over and all the logistics lined up perfectly. Again, many thanks for the input here, and I look forward to reporting on my visit. Steve

Hey Steve,
I had the chance to visit the factory in November 2025 and see my car being built, right before the engine was installed onto the chassis. It was an absolutely amazing experience. I even got to meet the person working directly on my car, and then took delivery just one month later.
Honestly, the visit alone is 1000% worth it. The atmosphere, having a coffee at the factory, seeing everything up close... itβs just fantastic. I 100% recommend it!

Weather and road conditions following our major storm here on the East Coast have made travel too difficult to get out and fly to the UK. I'm so disappointed, but another storm may hit on Saturday when I would be flying back, and it tipped the balance against the trip. We have a long-scheduled winter trip beginning the following week which keeps me from pushing out another week while the car is still in production. I will be in the UK this summer and will get to Malvern then. I changed my flights, trains and hotels twice trying to make this work, but I can't beat ice! The Cinzia at the Factory and the Abbey Hotel were great in making adjustments and changes as I tried to make it work, and I really appreciated their assistance and flexibility.

That's a shame, if you know the start of build date you may be lucky with an appeal on TM for anyone visiting or lives nearby to find your car in the factory and take you some photos

I've owned Morgans for 10 years, this is my fifth. But this is the first Morgan (plus Four) for which I have the construction photo album. It's essential ! And indeed, I would have really appreciated being able to see the construction process...

I did order the photo record for the build, and will be glad to have that. Cinzia continues to be super accommodating and helpful, and I will do a FaceTime call with her tomorrow to see the car in build--Morgan's focus on customer support and welcome is amazing!

Brilliant job, I can understand your excitement, and how good of the factory to FaceTime the video, great PR!
