Apologies for the Aero 8 "mumble mumble" Alistair, I was trying to put a few words together that summed up the courage of the MMC to fund such a design icon, and one that once I took me rather too long to appreciate as such, in that it seemed to fit perfectly within the company`s ethos....

I really should take time to read over my rambling thought patterns, in order to make the necessary corrections, but by the time I get to the end of thinking in type, I am kinda fed up thinking ...!!! (-:

I do stand by my thought patterns on the Aero 8 and it`s derivatives as under-appreciated style icons...I think in time they will become more appreciated as such.

It is perhaps an age thing, there was a time when my old +8 was considered by me as an affordable substitute for the Vintage Bentley, Aston, or Riley that was financially well out of reach. There was even a time when the norm for me was to sell whatever sports car I might own, to assist funding the next acquisition, I thought to sell my +8 at a time when open air motoring and access and egress from it was becoming more difficult, my usual sense of logic pointed me back towards the idea of a tin top sportscar to continue enjoying the interesting roads hereabouts, and fortunately at that time I was able to just hold on to the old Mog and buy the tin top...and even more fortunately my seemingly ever stiffening body seemed to become a tad more flexible and a tad more resistant to the cold, thus the old Mog has been favoured over the tin top during the warmer months in the last year.... (-:

So much for the effect of the passage of time.... Today I would not swap my old +8, for a Vintage Bentley, Aston or Riley, such are the memories created with, in and around it, over the twenty+ years I have had the privilege of being it`s custodian.... Good old Morgan..(-:

Yeah got into major mumbling there while struggling to think in type.... (-:

Ah, whoops, my bad.

I was speaking about me not you George. Sorry to trigger you oops

What can I say, I have the attention span of a ketamine loaded goldfish and I always take the time to read your epic length posts. More than can be said of my time at school and text books.....

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Alistair, zero bad on your part, as it does not take much to trigger my imagination at times, which can be mood dependant. I imagine you to be one of natures gentlemen.... There are not many of us left it seems...? (-:
