A lovely sight but that's all - don't whatever you do start shoveling as so many fit people succumb to the rigors of this task and what for..

You will be well provisioned and with endless wood burner - enjoy the peace cheers

Neighbour up the road has a telehandler with and 8ft bucket ... he cleared it 2 days ago (you can see the piles he left on the right )... took all of 4 hours to be like this again .... a foot of powder sat in the big fields either side and 50mph winds to drift it .... looks like the drifting conditions will slacken tomorrow so we'll get him back in to do it again ... no point before as it fills back in as you watch it!🙂

Back to work today, pandemonium, blocked in everywhere, I even stuck the Polaris yesterday in a deep drift, young lad didn’t speak to me the whole 3 mile walk of shame back, well other than to say how stupid I was and he could see it wouldn’t make it 😂
Yanked it oot with a massive John Deere, shame I didn’t take a photo, it was impressively incompetent, mistakes are the best lesson, that’s why I’m so good, I’ve made lots!

Good to hear K - like here with the Devon Banks if the wind picks up you can have 10' of it filling up the rural roads.

It's only happened twice in our 47 years down here but it does bring everything to a grinding halt in the sticks.

Sometimes there's just too much snow even for the Defender ... big bucket cleared it in an hour ... just hoping the wind stays off because it filled back in in 4 hours last time! 🙂

You are lucky man to be able to enjoy your Morgan on roads like that👍

I live only 30 km North-East of Oslo, and all the main roads are normally salted during winter. On Sunday we had some snow, and I managed to get out for a short spin on small gravel roads which had not yet been shovelled or salted. The grip with the Nokian
Hakkapeliitta R5 winter tyres was fantastic.

From minus 12 degrees last week we find ourselves in plus 11 degrees to day so it was just great to get out in the Moggie, plenty of rain over the last few days cleaned the salt of the roads so out in the fresh air for a re bonding with the car, purely for the good of the clutch plate and the brakes of course.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

Well everyday at least once since July (1250mls) (now 116,750miles total) apart from Saturday (Exeter Trial) as the Sport is my daily whilst I overwinter and sort my sons car out ready for summer when he'll fetch it back.

Always wash her underpinnings after any sniff of salt, I did the same with the previous Sport and no problems if you are thorough.
