Nestor ... at the risk of being personal, you have outstandingly neat fingernails! ... are you a surgeon? ... contrast to mine that always have oil under them and raggedy bits where I've used them as screwdrivers!
Lovely watch by the way ... beautifully balanced and understated face design and with all the wonderful whirry bits hidden behind ... watch for a gent of taste!

And who brought you standard time throughout Britain? The railways, of course! That is ironic  As in "horse". Indeed the iron horse + they are seldom to time these days,,,

And who brought you standard time throughout Britain? The railways, of course! That is ironic As in "horse". Indeed the iron horse + they are seldom to time these days,,, Perhaps I'm in the minority, but when I drive the Morgan I'm rarely in a hurry -- I no longer have planes to catch or meetings to attend, and the pub will still be there whatever time I arrive. I don't need a timepiece that's so accurate I could schedule the launch of a space rocket. Trouble with the fantastic facilities on such watches, is that you are instantly aware of anything unusual which can create an observation paranoia, eg how many standard deviations from your normal reading is still acceptable? Always very reassuring to have a watch that tells you, you are still alive.

I've always had a 'nice' watch..... well, as soon as could afford one......
I've always had a thing for Omega...... probably because my Dad had one.... it was the only 'thing' I ever wanted. He gave it to me before he died. I'll keep it forever.
I've had loads of Omegas.....seamasters, planet oceans, moonwatches, aqua terra's....🤦🏻♂️
Rolex.............🤷🏻♂️ I've had loads of them......Subs, Gmt's, Daytonas, datejust, explorer, explorer 2's......
but..................
I've just sold my sub................... every hoodie wearing, scumbag, wanna-be gangster with his mum's carving knife up his sleeve recognises it from 20 feet away.....
It had become a liability...... I didn't feel safe wearing it.🤷🏻♂️
Happy now to wear an under the radar seamaster 300 professional on a rubber strap....... nice watch, dressy enough, robust enough..... not a target for scumbags.....!!!!
🇬🇧🇬🇧 Wow—I didn’t realize you sold your Rolex Submariner, Julian. After being on the waiting list for so long, that surprised me… though I guess I should’ve seen it coming. You don’t exactly keep your Morgans for long either 😉 That said, it’s pretty scary these days if you can’t even wear them out in public without worrying about getting mugged. That’s exactly why mine’s been locked away.

I have always worn my IWC Portugieser watch.
Since my heart attack a few weeks ago, I have been wearing my Garmin sports watch. It has the same health functions as the Apple Watch, but I like it better.
