Heinz, the correct oil pressure sender unit for the 0 to 7barg pressure indictor, which is part of the 3 indicator gaube unit, according to Ian at Caerbont is 3000 8N 10. The 10 denotes I'm told stands for 100psi (which in Caerbont terms is 7bar!). I have recently installed a new sender of this model number. I am however not convinced that it is correct since i am indicating a pressure of around 6 -6.5 bar at around 2.5 to 3k rpm. I have taken some resistance readings the sender is exhibiting and also carried out a gauge check using a digital multimeter and potentiometer in order to verify what resistance my gauge wants to see for a given oil pressure. I have checked with Caerbont and my gauge resistance values do not appear to be what Caerbont say they should be. I am going to recheck in the next day or so. Im not of course expecting Budenberg Standard Test gauge accuracies but accuracy to within 10 to 15% would be acceptable to me for a gauge of this size. Incidently, i was supplied with a 4000 8N 16 sender which is a 0 to 160psi (or 10 bar) which of course is incorrect for the gauge range.

Always thought it reads a bit low. (3bar & 3000rpm) Even ? Allon Whites on delivery.
Think you are right low flyer Your ref would probably read about 4bar.
