okay, i try to negotiate something, i don't want to sell a kidney for this :-)

Fuel tank cap ordered from Newton :

and also the adapter ring from Morgan Belgium (réf : CF350 Y281037 - REV. A. FLANGE 1143-6M M05 OD 126.0 X 27.OH)

So nestor how does that work on a CX. Does it just screw on & the existing top part of the cap unscrew?
Do you have a fitting guide?

The flange is mounted over the existing tank cap, and then the new Newton tank cap is simply screwed onto the flange. Unfortunately, the flange shown cannot be used. Its diameter is too small. To my knowledge, the flange can only be obtained from Morgan.

I followed Clemens 🇩🇪 instructions to order it; I'll make an assembly tutorial when I have all the parts ✌🏼

You must mark the holes for the flange with the Neton Cup screwed on so that the cup is correctly aligned with the thread, Nestor.

I went to pick up the adapter ring from Morgan Belgium

The technician gave me the installation instructions.
You'll need to drill into the bodywork to attach the ring

My fuel filler cap arrived, everything fits perfectly
However, I've noticed that some people have installed the cap with the opening facing upwards, and others with it facing downwards. Which is the correct orientation for installation? :

Mine flips down so I can fill up with fuel without the lid getting in the way.
